Job Description

  • Design, configure, and develop AUTOSAR-based software, with a focus on BSW components such as OS, communication, diagnostics, memory services, and related modules.

  • Manage and configure automotive development toolchains, including Vector, ETAS, RTE, and other relevant platforms.

  • Participate in ECU software development and integration, working closely with cross-functional teams to define ECU specifications and software requirements.

  • Develop and integrate MCAL components and customer-specific device drivers.

  • Ensure software development follows automotive quality, safety, and cybersecurity standards, including ISO 26262, ISO/SAE 21434, and ASPICE.

  • Perform software testing, troubleshooting, debugging, and issue resolution throughout the development lifecycle.

  • Support engineering teams by providing guidance on AUTOSAR architecture, development methodologies, and best practices.

  • Contribute to Adaptive AUTOSAR projects where applicable, particularly in areas such as ADAS, Autonomous Driving, SOA, and Software-Defined Vehicles.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional experience in embedded software development, preferably within the automotive domain.

  • Solid understanding of AUTOSAR architecture and related development/configuration tools.

  • Experience with multi-core ECU configuration and software development.

  • Good programming knowledge in C/C++ and Python.

  • Familiarity with Git/Gerrit, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.

  • Experience with embedded software fundamentals, including BSP, compiler/toolchain configuration, and debugging using tools such as Lauterbach or GDB.

  • Understanding of operating systems, RTOS concepts, multithreading, and concurrency.

  • Knowledge of automotive communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, SPI, TCP/UDP, and related networking concepts.

  • Hands-on experience with automotive development and analysis tools such as CANoe, CANalyzer, CANape, or Wireshark.

  • Understanding of automotive functional safety, cybersecurity, and development process standards such as ISO 26262, ISO/SAE 21434, and ASPICE.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies and work independently when required.

  • Open-minded, adaptable, collaborative, and results-oriented mindset.

  • Certifications such as iSAQB or OCCUP2 are a plus.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Adaptive AUTOSAR.

  • Exposure to ADAS, autonomous driving, SOA, or SDV platforms.

  • Experience working in complex, multi-team automotive software development environments.
