Role Overview

We are a global technology enterprise building scalable digital platforms and operational systems for international enterprise clients. Our work is driven by a commitment to product excellence, engineering precision, speed of execution, and operational clarity.

As we accelerate our R&D and product expansion, we are looking for a Backend Lead to architect and scale robust, multi-tenant white-label platforms. Working directly alongside our Engineering Leads and CTO, you will bring deep technical execution, write high-performance code, and elevate the technical bar across the engineering organization.

Key Responsibilities

• System Architecture & Design: Architect scalable, resilient, and secure backend systems, microservices, and distributed pipelines.

• Hands-on Development: Write, review, and optimize production code—ensuring high standards for performance, security, and maintainability.

• Technical Leadership & Mentorship: Guide, coach, and level up backend engineers, enforcing best practices and code quality standards.

• Performance & Scalability: Proactively monitor system health, optimize database queries, and implement robust security protocols.

• Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner with cross-functional product and design squads to translate business requirements into clean technical specifications.

• Technical Debt & Innovation: Identify and resolve architectural debt, continuously improving system reliability and developer workflows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience with a proven track record of architecting scalable distributed systems.

• Core Tech Stack Proficiency: Deep expertise in Node.js, ExpressJS, PostgreSQL, and modern web technologies.

• System Design Mastery: Strong foundations in microservices architecture, RESTful API design, database optimization, and distributed systems.

• Mentorship & Coaching: Passion for nurturing junior and mid-level engineers with strong interpersonal skills.

• Security Standards: Hands-on knowledge of software security best practices, including authentication, RBAC, and data protection.

• Fluent English: Professional proficiency in both written and spoken English.
