We are seeking a Business Data Analyst (Business Analyst within the data domain) to partner closely with business stakeholders and technical teams on data-focused initiatives such as data platforms, data warehouses, and system integrations.
This position combines strong business analysis expertise with solid data fundamentals, particularly SQL and data warehouse concepts. Experience working on banking-related projects is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze, and validate requirements with both business users and technical teams

• Convert business requirements into detailed data specifications, including:

  • Transformation rules and mapping logic

  • Source-to-target mappings, matrices, and process flows

• Produce clear documentation and presentations tailored for:

  • Business stakeholders and technical audiences

  • Both Vietnamese and English communication

• Coordinate and align multiple stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery and consistent understanding

• Contribute to deliverables related to:

  • Data Warehouse and Data Mart requirements

  • Integration and data mapping documentation

  • Data quality definitions and requirements (when applicable)

Requirements

Business Analysis Experience & Skills

• 3+ years of experience in a BA role (IT BA, Data Analyst, or Data-focused BA)

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across diverse teams

• Proven ability in requirements gathering, analysis, and specification

• Excellent documentation and presentation skills (diagrams, matrices, flows) in both English and Vietnamese

Data Knowledge & Technical Skills

• Strong SQL skills for querying and extracting data from databases

• Hands-on experience with enterprise database systems such as SQL Server, Oracle, or IBM DB2

• Good understanding of cloud technologies, particularly within the AWS ecosystem:

  • S3, Glue, Athena

  • Familiarity with Databricks is an advantage

• Solid knowledge of data platform and data warehouse concepts, including:

  • Dimensional modeling, ETL processes, staging layers, Data Marts, SCD, and CDC

• Python experience is a plus

Banking Domain Knowledge

• Basic understanding of banking products, channels, and core systems

• Strong knowledge of banking data structures and flows is an advantage

• Prior experience on banking or financial services projects is a strong plus

Additional Nice-to-Have Skills

• Strong English communication skills for working with international stakeholders

• Experience with system integration projects (data mapping, data modeling)

• Exposure to international or cross-border project environments
