About the Role
We are looking for a Cloud Architect (AWS – Data & AI) with at least 8 years of experience in designing cloud solutions at enterprise scale. This position plays a key role in shaping AWS- and data-driven platforms while guiding organizations on their AI adoption journey. You’ll work across cloud, data, and AI strategies, ensuring solutions are secure, scalable, cost-efficient, and aligned with business objectives. Beyond technical design, you will influence client decisions, mentor engineering teams, and help define adoption roadmaps across multiple industries.
Your Responsibilities & Contribution

Design and deliver enterprise-level AWS cloud and data architectures focused on scalability, security, and resilience.

Build high-performance solutions across compute, networking, and storage tailored to organizational needs.

Define and implement data strategies such as data lakes, data warehouses, and real-time streaming pipelines (S3, Redshift, Glue, Kinesis).

Provide blueprints for AI/ML adoption using SageMaker, Bedrock, and custom ML workflows.

Support presales initiatives by preparing proposals, leading client workshops, and conducting cost estimations.

Produce clear AWS reference architectures and technical diagrams for client communication.

Lead cost analysis and optimization using AWS Cost Explorer, Pricing Calculator, and financial estimation models.

Establish architecture guidelines and best practices to steer delivery teams.

Act as the link between technical and business stakeholders, communicating design decisions in business-friendly terms.

Mentor and coach teams on AWS adoption, architectural best practices, and data strategy.
What You’ll Need
Essential Skills:

8+ years of experience in AWS cloud architecture and enterprise-level system design.

Strong expertise in AWS core services: EC2, Lambda, ECS/EKS, RDS, S3, Glue, Redshift, SageMaker, Bedrock.

Solid background in data platforms: data lakes, warehouses, and real-time pipelines.

Experience integrating AI/ML solutions into enterprise environments.

Proficiency in cost optimization using AWS Cost Explorer, Pricing Calculator, and estimation frameworks.

Skilled in creating AWS architecture diagrams using AWS Icons, Lucidchart, or Draw.io.

Awareness of Python and modern API stacks (not necessarily hands-on coding).

Excellent communication skills for presales, executive presentations, and stakeholder management.
Preferred Skills:

Domain expertise in Banking, Telecom, or Retail.

Relevant certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect – Professional, Data Analytics Specialty, or ML Specialty.

Knowledge of IAM, security best practices, and compliance frameworks.

Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Grafana, OpenTelemetry).

Ability to advise on workload performance and cost optimization.

Experience leading technical and executive workshops for AWS adoption.
