Role Overview

Our client builds high-impact digital platforms and operational systems for a global client base. We prioritize engineering quality, rapid execution, and architectural clarity.

As we expand into new markets, we need a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to own our entire technical landscape. You will sit at the intersection of technical strategy and business execution ensuring our systems are built right, built to scale, and delivered fast enough to win.

What You'll Do

• Own the Architecture: Define technical strategy, platform standards, and system architecture across web, mobile, and infrastructure.

• Drive Engineering Excellence: Establish strict benchmarks for code quality, platform reliability, security, and uptime.

• Lead Senior Leadership: Mentor and scale the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) while fostering an accountable, high-velocity engineering culture.

• Align Tech & Business: Partner with business leaders to translate company goals into clear engineering priorities, capacity planning, and roadmaps.

• Eliminate Friction: Proactively surface and resolve technical debt, system bottlenecks, and security risks before they impact delivery.

• Board & Executive Partner: Clearly communicate technical roadmaps, platform risks, and architectural trade-offs to executives and board members.

What We're Looking For

• 10+ Years in Engineering: Includes 3+ years in a senior leadership role leading high-growth teams.

• Hands-on Roots: A proven background as an engineer who has built and shipped real-world platforms, not just managed people.

• Scalability Track Record: Demonstrated experience scaling high-traffic systems and growing engineering teams rapidly.

• Deep Architectural Knowledge: Strong foundations across full-stack development, modern infrastructure, and cloud platforms.

• Pragmatic Communicator: Able to translate deep technical complexity into plain language for non-technical stakeholders.
