Role Overview

Data drives our entire business—pricing, promotions, user behavior, revenue-risk monitoring, and commercial reporting all depend on metrics our stakeholders can trust implicitly. We are expanding our Data Analytics function to ensure the organization operates from a single source of truth, catches anomalies early, and delivers fast, self-serve insights.

As Data Analytics Manager, you will own the analytics function end-to-end. Reporting directly to the Assistant General Manager (Head of BI), you will lead a team of section leads and analysts, establish data governance standards, and direct our analytics roadmap with full operational authority.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Roadmap Ownership: Define and execute the roadmap across Data Platform, Client & Commercial Analytics, and Anomaly Detection—setting strict priority levels and quality benchmarks.

• Team Leadership & Scale: Lead, mentor, and grow a team of section leads and analysts across data pipelines/automations, dashboards, governance, commercial reporting, and revenue-risk monitoring.

• Data Governance & KPI Standardization: Establish company-wide data governance, ensuring every KPI has a single, documented, and universally accessible definition.

• Warehouse Modeling (BigQuery): Own the modeling and semantic layers built on our BigQuery data warehouse to enable efficient, self-serve access for business teams.

• Anomaly & Revenue-Risk Monitoring: Architect automated monitoring systems to detect promo abuse, suspicious transactional wins, and operational exploits early.

• Commercial & Client Reporting: Guarantee invoicing precision, client delivery reporting, and actionable P&L insights for partners and commercial teams.

• Quality Assurance: Set high standards for data presentation and storytelling, transforming raw, complex data into decision-ready business intelligence.

• Executive Visibility: Report progress, data risks, and strategic insights directly to management in clear business terms.

Key Qualifications

• 10+ years of total analytics experience, with 3+ years directly leading and developing analytics teams.

• Expert SQL Proficiency: Mastery in querying, manipulating, and analyzing large-scale datasets.

• Advanced Spreadsheet Skills: Expertise in Excel/Google Sheets (complex formulas, nested lookups, pivot tables, VBA/scripts).

• BI Tool Mastery: Hands-on experience with modern BI platforms (Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI, etc.).

• Data Presentation: High bar for clean data presentation, dashboard design, and business storytelling.

• Cross-Functional Leadership: Demonstrated ability to align business, product, and engineering teams on shared metrics.

Technical & Bonus Pluses

• Basic Python capabilities (Pandas, NumPy) for data processing.

• Hands-on experience working with APIs and building automated reporting pipelines.
