Position Summary
The DevOps Engineer will enhance our systems to improve customer experience during our ambitious growth phase. Responsibilities include deploying product updates, identifying production issues, and implementing integrations. The role requires collaboration across the business to ensure developers understand stakeholder needs, identify technical problems, and participate in project management decisions to drive success.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement continuous integration and deployment platforms.
- Scale local environments to cloud-scale availability.
- Optimize automated infrastructure.
- Improve testing and deployment pipelines and address emergent issues.
- Create monitoring processes for system health, ensuring uptime and automated incident response.
- Develop a support operating model for our growing customer base.
- Ensure systems are secure against cybersecurity threats.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or Information Technology.
- 5+ years of relevant experience with a commitment to quality design and clean code.
- Full-stack development mindset, comfortable with AWS, Windows Server, Linux, Docker, Java, Ruby, PHP, and Angular.
- Passion for Windows Servers, Linux, AWS, and open source.
- Ability to transition local applications to cloud environments.
- Experience designing and deploying development pipelines.
- Ability to set and meet aggressive goals in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Energetic, agile-minded, optimistic, pragmatic, and a team player.
- Excellent English reading comprehension and communication skills.
