DevOps Engineer
About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to lead the design, automation, and optimization of our cloud infrastructure. In this role, you will drive DevOps best practices, enhance deployment processes, and ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of our AWS-based environments.
You will work closely with engineering, product, and operations teams to build efficient infrastructure, automate workflows, and support the delivery of cutting-edge AI-powered solutions. Key Responsibilities
Cloud Infrastructure & Architecture

Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available AWS infrastructure.

Architect cloud solutions following industry best practices for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.

Manage and optimize AWS services including EC2, VPC, S3, Lambda, RDS, CloudFront, and related services.
Infrastructure Automation

Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation.

Automate provisioning, deployment, and operational processes across environments.

Build tools and scripts to eliminate manual tasks and improve engineering efficiency.
CI/CD & Platform Engineering

Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools.

Streamline software delivery processes and improve deployment reliability.

Support containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes.
Reliability, Security & Monitoring

Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability using CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack.

Implement cloud security best practices, including IAM, network security, encryption, and compliance controls.

Troubleshoot production issues and drive root cause analysis.
Leadership & Collaboration

Mentor and support junior DevOps engineers.

Collaborate with software engineers, architects, and stakeholders to improve development workflows and operational excellence.

Promote DevOps culture and best practices across the organization.
Requirements
Must-Have Skills:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in a DevOps Engineer role, or similar positions.
- Extensive experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, Lambda, RDS, etc.)
- Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation.
- Demonstrated expertise in building, managing, and automating CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
- Advanced scripting skills in Python and Bash for automation and tool development.
- Expertise in Linux system administration (Ubuntu, CentOS, etc.).
- Deep understanding of networking, security practices, and monitoring in cloud environments.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Cloud Platforms: Advanced AWS Cloud expertise (EC2, VPC, S3, Lambda, RDS, CloudFront, etc.)
- IaC Tools: Terraform, AWS CDK, CloudFormation
- CI/CD Tools: GitHub Actions, Jenkins
- Scripting Languages: Python, Bash
- Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes
- Operating Systems: Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, etc.)
- Version Control: Git, GitHub, GitLab
- Monitoring & Logging: CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana)
- Security: AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM), security groups, VPC, and encryption best practices
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect, Developer, SysOps Administrator, DevOps Engineer).
- Experience with serverless technologies such as AWS Lambda and API Gateway.
- Expertise with configuration management tools
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and container orchestration with Kubernetes.
- Experience with cost optimization in cloud environments.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps principles.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams.
- Ability to lead and mentor junior DevOps engineers and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
