The Role
As a DevOps Engineer, you’ll partner directly with our CTO, system architects, and backend team to build resilient, highly scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure. You will be the backbone of our release speed, system uptime, and security posture.
What You’ll Do

Manage Infrastructure: Own, deploy, and scale our AWS infrastructure using Terraform (IaC).

Maximize Reliability: Optimize traffic routing with Nginx and AWS ALB, keeping production downtime to zero.

Drive Observability: Maintain robust logging, metrics, and alert systems (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana) to catch issues before users do.

Secure the Pipeline: Identify security vulnerabilities, manage CI/CD pipelines, and implement proactive fix strategies.

Collaborate & Automate: Work closely with NodeJS backend engineers to streamline deployments and automate routine tasks via Bash or TypeScript.

Support Production: Participate in an on-call rotation to investigate and resolve critical incidents swift response times.
What We’re Looking For

Strong hands-on experience with AWS and Linux environments.

Proven experience managing Infrastructure as Code via Terraform.

Proficiency with NodeJS backend environments and PostgreSQL basics.

Expertise in scripting (Bash, TypeScript, or Node.js) for task automation.

Solid grasp of core networking principles and observability tools.

Professional fluency in English (written and spoken).

Readiness to participate in an on-call rotation.
Bonus Points

Experience with Nginx, AWS ALB, or GCP BigQuery.

Familiarity with security concepts like WAF, SAST, DAST, or SCA.

Previous experience in a high-growth startup or fast-paced environment.
