Overview

The Forward Deployed Partner is responsible for overseeing strategic client engagements, ensuring successful delivery outcomes, fostering strong stakeholder relationships, and supporting account expansion initiatives.

This role collaborates closely with Architects, Strategists, Engineers, and Delivery teams to drive programme success through effective governance, commercial oversight, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will balance delivery management, stakeholder engagement, financial accountability, and execution discipline while serving as a trusted advisor throughout the engagement lifecycle.

The client encourages all team members to leverage AI tools in their daily work. AI-powered assistants and workflow automation solutions are expected to enhance delivery operations, reporting, commercial tracking, meeting preparation, and stakeholder engagement activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the overall delivery and commercial success of one or more client accounts.
  • Monitor engagement financial performance, including gross margin, forecasting, invoicing, and collections in partnership with Delivery and Finance teams.
  • Assist with the management of Statements of Work (SOWs), change requests, milestone schedules, RAID logs, governance reporting, and programme controls.
  • Partner with delivery teams to support effort estimation, delivery planning, and execution monitoring prior to client commitments.
  • Maintain robust programme governance frameworks and ensure risks, dependencies, and delivery challenges are proactively identified and escalated when required.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders across both business and technology functions.
  • Contribute to account growth by identifying new opportunities and supporting expansion discussions.
  • Coordinate with Forward Deployed Architects, Strategists, Engineers, and Project Managers to ensure alignment and high-quality delivery execution.
  • Coach and support junior project managers in strengthening delivery discipline, communication capabilities, and commercial understanding.
  • Track client satisfaction throughout engagements and proactively address delivery, operational, or relationship concerns.
  • Support pre-sales activities including proposal development, delivery planning, estimation validation, and SOW preparation.
  • Contribute to the continuous enhancement of delivery frameworks, methodologies, and operational best practices.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in consulting, systems integration, enterprise technology delivery, or technology services environments.
  • Proven experience supporting account-level delivery governance and commercial management.
  • Experience contributing to SOW development, change management processes, programme governance, and project delivery activities.
  • Strong understanding of the full delivery lifecycle, including discovery, implementation, testing, deployment, and hypercare.
  • Experience working within BFSI, telecommunications, insurance, or other highly regulated industries.
  • Understanding of AI transformation initiatives and enterprise technology delivery environments.
  • Familiarity with agentic AI, AI-enabled operating models, and AWS-based transformation programmes.
  • Strong programme governance expertise, including RAID management, milestone tracking, status reporting, and stakeholder communications.
  • Commercial acumen across forecasting, margin management, delivery effort tracking, and engagement operations.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage both technical and business audiences.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams and functions in dynamic enterprise environments.

Travel & Location

Our clients are located across Southeast Asia, ANZ, and Japan. The role requires close collaboration with client teams and may involve travel or in-country presence depending on project requirements. Relocation assistance may be considered based on business needs.
