Core Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and continuously refine scalable client-side applications using modern JavaScript technologies, primarily React and TypeScript.
- Deliver seamless functionality across browser-based and cross-platform mobile solutions while understanding interactions between JavaScript and native mobile components.
- Build and release new capabilities for both web interfaces and mobile-enabled products.
- Integrate and manage GraphQL APIs, including data retrieval, updates, client-side caching, pagination strategies, and resilient error recovery.
- Partner with UX designers, backend developers, and product teams to transform concepts into polished customer-facing features.
- Drive initiatives from initial planning through deployment, validation, issue resolution, and ongoing enhancements.
- Navigate sophisticated application architectures involving asynchronous processing, application state, and interconnected services.
- Review or troubleshoot lightweight Swift or Kotlin code when supporting mobile integrations.
- Maintain high engineering quality through comprehensive validation practices covering automated and manual testing.
- Investigate and resolve issues spanning web clients, hybrid applications, and integrations with native mobile libraries.
- Utilize AI-powered development assistants and automation tools to streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and reduce repetitive engineering effort.
- Work alongside mobile engineers to support hybrid application delivery and communication with native platform modules.
- Promote robust quality assurance practices across unit, integration, and end-to-end validation.
- Champion intuitive, inclusive, and reliable digital experiences, particularly for products involving sensitive user interactions.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of professional experience building modern user interfaces with React and TypeScript.
- Previous experience contributing to startups or rapidly growing product companies where priorities evolve quickly.
- Solid expertise in GraphQL and client-side application architecture.
- Strong foundation in modern web technologies, browser behavior, and frontend engineering best practices.
- Hands-on experience creating cross-platform or hybrid mobile solutions using technologies such as React Native, Capacitor, Ionic, or comparable frameworks.
- Good understanding of application state, asynchronous programming patterns, debugging techniques, and software quality practices.
- Demonstrated attention to usability and customer-centric design, especially for products where trust and user confidence are essential.
- Self-driven mindset with a strong sense of accountability, practical decision-making skills, and commitment to delivering excellent user experiences.
