Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and continuously enhance reliable frontend products using React and TypeScript.
• Deliver new capabilities across web and cross-platform mobile environments, working with technologies such as Ionic, Capacitor, React Native, or comparable frameworks.
• Operate across both browser-based and mobile application layers, understanding how JavaScript-based applications communicate with native functionality.
• Investigate and resolve issues involving frontend code, mobile platforms, and third-party or native SDK integrations.
• Support the development and release of hybrid mobile applications, with the ability to review and understand basic Swift or Kotlin code when troubleshooting or integrating native components. Native development is not a core requirement.
• Build and maintain GraphQL-based data interactions, including queries, mutations, caching, pagination, and error recovery.
• Take end-to-end responsibility for assigned features, from initial implementation through testing, production release, troubleshooting, and subsequent improvements.
• Navigate sophisticated application architectures involving asynchronous operations, state synchronization, and dependencies across multiple product areas.
• Participate in defining and improving automated testing practices, covering unit, integration, and end-to-end scenarios.
• Partner with product, design, backend, and other stakeholders to create consistent and high-quality user experiences.
• Keep usability, accessibility, reliability, and user trust at the center of product decisions, particularly for products involving sensitive user needs.
• Make effective use of AI-powered development tools to streamline workflows, reduce repetitive work, and improve engineering efficiency.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional frontend development experience, with strong hands-on expertise in React and TypeScript.
• Proven experience delivering cross-platform or hybrid mobile applications using Ionic, Capacitor, React Native, or similar technologies.
• Comfortable troubleshooting issues that occur between JavaScript and native mobile environments, including working with native SDK integrations and reading basic Swift or Kotlin code when required.
• Solid command of modern frontend engineering principles, browser technologies, and web development fundamentals.
• Practical experience with GraphQL and contemporary approaches to client-side data management and fetching.
• Strong understanding of application state, asynchronous workflows, testing methodologies, and systematic debugging.
• Previous experience working within startups or rapidly scaling product teams where priorities and requirements can evolve quickly.
• Strong awareness of usability and user trust, especially when building products that involve personal, sensitive, or high-empathy user interactions.
• Demonstrated ability to take ownership, make pragmatic technical decisions, and solve problems with the end-user in mind.
• Comfortable communicating and collaborating in English as part of day-to-day work.

Nice to Have

• Experience preparing and releasing applications through the Apple App Store and/or Google Play.
• Knowledge of frontend and mobile performance tuning, monitoring, logging, or observability practices.
• Previous exposure to healthcare, wellness, mental health, or other products where user data and experience require a high degree of sensitivity.
