📌 Key Responsibilities

1. Take ownership of the core transaction platform
   Maintain and enhance the transaction processing engine, including order matching, trading safeguards, ledger consistency, fee computation, and internal balance movements. This is one of the platform’s most critical and high-impact areas.
2. Own production operations and technical incident handling
   Manage production releases, emergency fixes, and service recovery. Investigate technical incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and ensure issues and resolutions are properly documented.
3. Develop and support regulatory technology integrations
   Maintain integrations with third-party screening, transaction monitoring, identity/compliance, and regulatory reporting platforms. Work closely with Compliance and Operations teams to troubleshoot integration or validation issues.
4. Support financial institution and payment integrations
   Work with external banking and payment service providers, including API configuration, account setup, transaction rules, and partner-specific parameters for deposits, withdrawals, and transaction limits.
5. Maintain user account and risk-control settings
   Manage configuration across customer tiers, transaction limits, API access permissions, risk thresholds, and administrative controls. Ensure the internal management platform supports operational and risk requirements.
6. Participate in system architecture and cross-team engineering initiatives
   Evaluate areas requiring redesign or optimization as transaction volume and processing requirements grow. Work with Product and other engineering teams to define scope, assess technical trade-offs, and support broader platform integration initiatives across business systems and data platforms.

📌 Requirements

1. Education
   Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
2. Professional experience
   3–5 years of hands-on experience working across backend and frontend development.
3. Relevant domain exposure
   Experience building or supporting transaction-intensive systems such as trading platforms, financial services, payment systems, digital assets, or other low-latency transactional environments is highly preferred. Understanding of order processing, matching mechanisms, and transaction safeguards is a strong advantage.
4. Technical skills
   Strong hands-on experience with Node.js and Express.js, together with solid knowledge of MySQL, Redis, RESTful APIs, and production-grade service operations.
5. Delivery in regulated environments
   Demonstrated ability to deliver software within regulatory, compliance, security, or external-partner requirements and constraints.
6. Communication
   Strong written English and the ability to communicate technical information clearly with Product, Operations, Compliance, and other non-engineering stakeholders across different locations and time zones.
