Key Responsibilities 

- Planning, coordination and support of the “functional safety” of innovative projects over the complete development cycle.
- Responsible for communicating with customers and signing DIA.
- Definition of safety requirements on product level with our customers.
- Development of safety concepts including safety architecture and safety mechanisms.
- Derivation of hardware- and software safety requirements.
- Performing safety analyses, i.e. FMEDA, DFA, FTA.
- Evaluation of hardware safety metrics (PMHF, SPFM, LFM).
- Representation of functional safety towards project managers, customers and department management.

Required Qualifications
- University degree (Master or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, Computer Science, Automation or a related field.
- Experience in the concept development of electronic systems at least 3 years.
- Knowledge and experience in development according to automotive development processes (i.e. ASPICE)
- Profound knowledge in the standard „Road vehicles - Functional Safety“ (ISO 26262) and at least 2 years of experience in its application
- Positive team spirit with a sense of responsibility and quality.
- An autonomous, effective and target-oriented way of work.
- Confident appearance and assertiveness.
- Fluent spoken and written in English.
- Willingness to travel.
