About the Role
We are looking for a creative and systems-oriented Game Designer to help shape and expand a user-generated content (UGC) ecosystem for a gaming platform. In this role, you will focus on improving creator experiences, designing scalable creator systems, and developing tools and frameworks that encourage content creation and long-term community growth.
This position is ideal for someone passionate about game systems, creator communities, and platform-driven gaming experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Creator Systems & Ecosystem Development

Design and improve systems that support creator growth, engagement, and long-term participation within the platform.

Develop creator-focused features such as progression systems, incentive structures, onboarding flows, and engagement programs.

Collaborate with development teams to improve creation tools and editor functionality across different platforms.

Create structured templates and starter frameworks to simplify the content creation process for new creators.

Prepare detailed system design documentation including feature logic, progression flows, reward mechanisms, and creator journeys.

Identify creator pain points and propose solutions that improve usability, accessibility, and creator retention.

Participate in testing and validating new systems and creator tools before launch.
Performance & Optimization

Monitor creator ecosystem performance using relevant metrics and behavioral data.

Analyze creator activity, content publishing trends, engagement quality, and retention indicators.

Continuously improve systems and creator experiences based on data insights and community feedback.

Evaluate adoption of new features and recommend adjustments to increase effectiveness and creator satisfaction.

Support reporting initiatives related to ecosystem growth and creator performance.
Cross-functional Collaboration

Work closely with Product, Operations, Publishing, and Development teams to align ecosystem goals and feature priorities.

Stay informed about trends in UGC platforms, creator economies, and social gaming experiences.
Requirements
Experience
-
Minimum 3 years of experience in game design, system design, or game development.

Experience working on live-service games, creator platforms, sandbox games, or UGC ecosystems is highly preferred.

Familiarity with game creation platforms or community-driven games is considered a strong advantage.
Gaming & Design Passion

Strong passion for gaming and creating engaging player experiences.

Deep understanding of player motivation, progression systems, and creator engagement mechanics.
Technical & Analytical Understanding

Familiarity with game KPIs such as retention, active users, engagement, and monetization metrics.

Experience writing game/system design documentation and collaborating with development teams.
Communication & Collaboration

Strong communication skills in both Vietnamese and English.

Ability to clearly present ideas and collaborate effectively with cross-functional and international teams.

Additional language capabilities are a plus.
