About the Role

We are looking for a passionate Game Developer to contribute to the creation of engaging gameplay experiences within a sandbox and user-generated content (UGC) platform. In this role, you will work on developing new game modes, interactive maps, and gameplay systems that enhance player engagement and expand the platform’s content ecosystem.

This position is suitable for developers who enjoy combining technical development with creative gameplay design in a collaborative and fast-moving environment.

Key Responsibilities

Game & Feature Development

Collaborate with designers, artists, and product teams to develop engaging gameplay experiences and interactive content.
Build, test, and maintain game features, maps, and gameplay systems for cross-platform environments.
Contribute to the development of new gameplay concepts and support the expansion of the platform’s game library.
Participate in the full game development lifecycle, from prototyping to deployment and live updates.

Gameplay Optimization

Optimize game performance across multiple devices and platforms to ensure stable and smooth user experiences.
Identify technical issues and performance bottlenecks, then implement effective solutions.

Maintenance & Live Operations

Support ongoing improvements, feature enhancements, and content updates after launch.
Investigate and resolve bugs or gameplay issues to maintain product quality and stability.

Collaboration & Technical Support

Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders including game design, operations, and regional teams.
Provide technical guidance and support for internal teams and external creator partners when needed.
Contribute feedback for improving internal tools, workflows, and development processes.

Requirements

Experience

Minimum 2 years of experience in game development with hands-on involvement in shipped or live products.
Experience with game engines such as Unity, Unreal Engine, or equivalent platforms.
Background in sandbox, multiplayer, or UGC-based games is a strong advantage.

Technical Skills

Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, C++, JavaScript, or similar technologies.
Familiarity with scripting languages or automation tools is a plus.
Understanding of game systems including gameplay mechanics, balancing, UI/UX, physics, and multiplayer architecture.
Experience working with version control systems such as Git or SVN.

Game Development Knowledge

Good understanding of client-server models and multiplayer game environments.
Ability to build scalable and maintainable gameplay systems.

Communication & Collaboration

Strong communication skills in both Vietnamese and English.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and international teams.
Additional language skills are considered a plus.
