As the Head of Technology, you will lead all technological initiatives across the company, playing a critical role in shaping and executing our tech strategy to fuel business growth. You‘ll be responsible for the design and implementation of our platforms, infrastructure, and digital solutions—ensuring they align seamlessly with our strategic vision. This role involves managing and inspiring a talented team of developers, engineers, and technical experts, while promoting a culture of innovation, technical excellence, and continuous improvement.


Key Responsibilities

Technology Leadership & Strategy

  • Define and communicate the company’s long-term technology vision and strategic roadmap to support business objectives.

  • Stay ahead of emerging technologies, evaluating their potential to enhance our offerings.

  • Manage the overall technology budget and optimize resource utilization.

  • Nurture a proactive, hands-on culture within the technology team, promoting ongoing learning and problem-solving.

Product Development & Engineering Execution

  • Supervise daily operations of engineering and development teams to ensure timely, high-quality delivery of products and services.

  • Champion modern architectural principles and development practices (such as microservices, CI/CD pipelines).

  • Strike a balance between speed of execution and building secure, scalable, and maintainable systems.

  • Maintain strong technical capabilities to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges when necessary.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with senior leadership to turn business strategies into technical roadmaps.

  • Collaborate with Product, UX, and Data teams to deliver cohesive and impactful customer-facing solutions.

  • Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards across all tech systems and platforms.

Team Leadership & Talent Development

  • Build and lead a high-performing, motivated technology team.

  • Implement clear performance management frameworks, including goal-setting, feedback, and development plans.

  • Drive recruitment of top-tier tech talent and foster a positive, engaging work culture that supports growth and retention.

  • Lead by example in upholding company values and ensuring they are reflected across the technology function.


What We’re Looking For

  • Leadership Experience: A solid track record in a senior technology leadership position such as Head of Technology, VP of Engineering, or CTO.

  • Technical Proficiency:

    • Backend: Golang, PHP (Laravel)

    • Frontend: React JS (Next.js), HTML, CSS frameworks

    • Databases: MySQL, MongoDB

    • Infrastructure: Unix/Linux, Nginx, Apache, AWS or GCP, Kubernetes

    • Architecture & DevOps: Laravel, WordPress, Microservices, CI/CD (e.g., Jenkins)

  • Strategic Insight: Strong ability to align technical strategies with business goals using a data-driven approach.

  • Leadership & Communication: Excellent skills in team leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and mentoring.

  • Business Understanding: Experience in budget planning, resource management, and delivering ROI through technology.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).

  • Languages: Fluent in English (written and spoken); proficiency in Vietnamese is a plus.
