About the Role

As an Application Engineer, your mission is to take charge of the necessary software engineering and application development work based on our core robotic controller platform to address specific industrial applications. You will play a critical role in improving our in-house technologies and supporting the integration and deployment of our products into our partners’ automation applications.

This is a dynamic, high-impact role that covers a wide range of engineering responsibilities, including programming, testing, solution design, system integration, and on-site deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• System Development: Design and develop full-fledged robotic solutions utilizing our proprietary robotic controller in close collaboration with the Product Team.

• On-Site Deployment: Install systems on-site, managing the complete delivery lifecycle, physical calibration, and performing User Acceptance Tests (UAT).

• Maintenance & Support: Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on installed automated systems; provide customer support, interactive product demos, and technical training.

• Partner Collaboration: Cooperate closely with partners’ engineers to clearly define the technical requirements and functional specifications of the application.

• Cross-Functional R&D: Work hand-in-hand with our internal development team to engineer robust solutions involving design, programming, and testing.

• Integration Engineering: Seamlessly integrate our core technology and software solutions into partner products or enterprise-scale automation applications.

• Project & Client Management: Drive technical project management while maintaining excellent, high-trust relationships with external partners and clients.

Requirements

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related engineering disciplines (e.g., Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with practical exposure to Computer Science).

• Experience: 1–2 years of professional working experience in an Application Engineering, Solutions Engineering, or technical deployment role.

• Technical Portfolio: Direct experience in turn-key solution development related to IT, embedded systems, or AI, alongside exposure to complex mechanical and electrical engineering projects.

• Leadership Mindset: Prior experience in a management role or a proven track record of leading technical teams to success.

• Professional Delivery: Familiarity with structured workplace processes, including documentation writing, technical presentations, milestone planning, and time management.

• Language Skills: Fluent English proficiency (essential for direct partner communication and international collaboration).

• Soft Skills: Honest, detail-oriented, careful, highly responsible, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-pressure team environment.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Familiarity with standard software development lifecycles and modern toolchains (e.g., Linux development, Git).

• Experience designing and implementing intuitive UI/UX for industrial applications.

• Good technical awareness of AI, Computer Vision (deep learning frameworks and tools), or Robotics (kinematics, calibration, motion planning).

• A solid background in algorithmics (complexity in time and space) and foundational mathematics (linear algebra, probability, statistics).
