About the Role

We are hiring a Mid-Senior BIM/Revit Specialist to support the delivery of a major airport infrastructure project in Vietnam. This role focuses on developing accurate BIM models from AutoCAD drawings, identifying design conflicts, and ensuring coordination across ICT and other engineering disciplines.

The successful candidate will be comfortable working independently, interpreting existing design documentation, and maintaining model accuracy as drawings evolve. You will collaborate closely with the on-site AutoCAD design team and Design Director to keep BIM deliverables aligned with project requirements, with minimal day-to-day supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• BIM Model Development: Translate 2D and 3D AutoCAD drawings into accurate, detailed, and coordinated BIM/Revit models.

• Clash Detection & Resolution Support: Identify conflicts within ICT designs, including cable trays, racks, and conduits, as well as coordination issues involving structural, MEP, and architectural elements.

• Clash Documentation: Record and communicate detected clashes clearly and promptly to the relevant design teams and project stakeholders.

• Material Quantification: Extract, prepare, and maintain material take-offs and quantity lists based on BIM model data.

• Design Team Coordination: Work closely with the on-site AutoCAD team and Design Director to incorporate the latest drawing revisions and maintain model accuracy.

• Model Management: Maintain proper BIM model version control and ensure deliverables comply with established modelling standards.

• Progress Reporting: Provide regular updates on modelling progress and prepare clash reports to support ongoing design coordination.

Requirements — Must-Have

• Bachelor's degree in ICT, Civil/Structural Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.

• 3–5+ years of BIM/Revit experience, with solid hands-on expertise in clash detection and coordination across multiple disciplines.

• Proven experience converting 2D and 3D AutoCAD drawings into BIM models.

• Ability to independently identify, document, and report design clashes in a clear and structured manner.

• Experience producing material take-offs and quantity calculations from BIM models.

• Self-motivated and capable of managing assigned work effectively in a fully remote environment, with minimal supervision.

• Strong written and spoken English, with the ability to coordinate confidently with international project stakeholders across different time zones.

Nice-to-Have

• Hands-on experience with Navisworks or other specialized clash-detection tools.

• Autodesk Certified Professional in Revit or an equivalent BIM-related certification.

• Previous BIM modelling experience involving ICT/telecommunications or passive network infrastructure.

• Familiarity with BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and/or ISO 19650-based coordination processes.

• Experience contributing to airport developments, transportation systems, or other large-scale infrastructure projects.
