Role Overview
As a key member of the Product team, you will own the user experience for our software suite. You will bridge the gap between complex robotics engineering and human-centric design, refining our UX processes and working side-by-side with Product and Engineering teams. You will design regular feature enhancements, spearhead the creation of new applications, and equip our users with data-driven metrics to measure and maximize usability.
Key Responsibilities
User Research & Experience Design
-
Map User Journeys: Create comprehensive design artifacts—including user personas, empathy maps, and journey maps—to deeply understand customer behaviors, pain points, and needs.
-
End-to-End Wireframing & Prototyping: Develop low-fidelity wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, sitemaps, and interactive prototypes to deliver robust solutions within agile timelines.
-
User Research & Testing: Plan and execute user surveys, interviews, and usability testing; translate these insights into concrete, data-backed design solutions.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Influence
-
Cross-Functional Partnership: Partner closely with Product Owners and Engineers to ensure design concepts align with both business goals and technical feasibility.
-
Design Advocacy: Showcase and pitch design solutions to internal teams, partners, and customers. Articulate complex design decisions clearly, utilizing data-driven insights to influence stakeholders.
-
Iterative Feedback Loop: Proactively collect and incorporate feedback from cross-functional teams to continuously refine and iterate on shipped products.
Growth & Optimization
-
Performance Tracking: Establish metrics to track and measure the performance of delivered features against UX success criteria.
-
Process Leadership: Train internal teams on software usability standards and advocate for UX best practices across the organization.
