We're seeking a meticulous and proactive Quality Assurance Tester to play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our mobile application. You will be responsible for developing effective test strategies, executing test plans, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle to deliver a high-quality user experience.
Responsibilities:
- Thoroughly review and analyze our mobile application to develop comprehensive and effective test strategies and plans.
- Execute test cases (both manual and automated) and meticulously analyze the results to identify defects and areas for improvement.
- Evaluate product code against specifications to ensure adherence to requirements and quality standards.
- Create detailed and organized logs to document all testing phases, identified defects, and testing outcomes.
- Accurately report bugs and errors to development teams, providing clear and concise information for efficient resolution.
- Assist in troubleshooting issues to help identify root causes and facilitate effective fixes.
- Conduct thorough post-release and post-implementation testing to validate the stability and functionality of deployed versions.
- Collaborate effectively with Product Managers, Developers, and other team members to ensure quality is integrated throughout the entire software development lifecycle.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or in a similar role.
- Experience in project management principles and a solid understanding of QA methodologies.
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks and experience with regression testing is a plus.
- Strong ability to clearly document and effectively troubleshoot errors.
- Working knowledge of test management software (e.g., qTest, Zephyr) and SQL for data verification.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Keen attention to detail and a commitment to thoroughness.
