Role Overview

We are seeking a QA Manager to own quality strategy across a multi-product portfolio and lead the QA teams that support them. Operating a level above a single-team QA Lead, you will define quality standards across products, mentor QA Leads into stronger managers, and build an autonomous QA organization that scales ahead of company growth—not behind it.

Key Responsibilities

• Portfolio Quality Ownership: Define quality strategy, standards, and outcomes across multiple product lines, including peak-volume periods and multi-sprint cycles.

• Leadership Development: Coach and grow QA Leads and Senior QA Engineers, measuring your success by how effectively your teams operate autonomously.

• Proactive Talent Bench: Build and execute an always-on recruitment plan, hiring high-capability talent ahead of business demand.

• Mandatory AI Integration: Drive AI adoption across the QA organization (AI-driven test generation, triage, coverage analysis, and flaky-test reduction) as a baseline standard.

• Process & Strategy Definition: Establish org-wide QA workflows, automation architectures, tooling, and business-level quality metrics for executive leadership.

• Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner with Product, Engineering, and executive leaders on risk management, release readiness, and resourcing trade-offs.

• Hands-on Technical Authority: Stay close enough to the technical craft to resolve blockers, make sharp calls under pressure, and lead by example.

Requirements

• 8+ years of total QA experience with a strong hands-on foundation (functional, API, integration, regression), including a proven track record of managing QA Leads or QA Managers.

• Mandatory AI Competency: Fluent in applying modern AI tools to QA workflows and driving their adoption across engineering teams.

• Multiplier Track Record: Concrete history of coaching and developing team members into strong, independent leaders.

• Portfolio Strategy Mastery: Experience managing test strategies across multiple concurrent products, prioritizing resources without dropping the ball.

• Automation Expertise: Solid understanding of modern automation frameworks (Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or similar) at a strategic level.

• High Autonomy & Ownership: Ability to establish standards and step back—fostering a culture of accountability over hand-holding.

• Communication: Clear, decisive English communication skills (written and spoken).

Nice to Have

• Experience scaling a QA organization through periods of rapid headcount growth.

• Exposure to high-scale platforms or MarTech ecosystems.

• Demonstrated history of introducing AI tools that measurably accelerated delivery speed or quality.
