QA Team Lead
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Product Quality Management
-
Take full responsibility for the release quality of assigned products/teams

Determine testing priorities and scope based on business impact, project timelines, and potential risks
-
Guarantee features meet production standards before deployment
-
Join planning sessions, requirement analysis, and release review meetings
-
Proactively detect quality concerns and implement preventive actions
2. Team Management & Coaching
-
Guide and support QA engineers in both manual and automated testing activities
-
Foster a culture focused on accountability, ownership, and continuous learning
-
Enhance team productivity and overall testing effectiveness
3. Test Strategy & Automation
-
Build and refine regression testing approaches
-
Promote automation across UI, API, and integration testing areas
-
Strengthen CI/CD testing processes to improve release stability
-
Reduce execution time while preserving valuable test coverage
-
Encourage exploratory, risk-oriented, and user-centric testing practices
4. Product & Customer-Oriented Quality
-
Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Support teams
-
Review production incidents and customer insights to enhance testing coverage
-
Lead root cause investigations and prevention initiatives
-
Prioritize end-user experience and perceived product quality beyond internal metrics
5. QA Process Enhancement
-
Establish efficient and practical QA workflows that teams can consistently follow
-
Monitor quality metrics and evaluate testing performance
-
Improve release preparation, testing plans, and defect tracking processes
-
Apply AI-powered QA solutions where they can deliver measurable benefits
REQUIREMENTS
Required Qualifications
-
At least 6 years of experience in software testing or quality engineering
-
Minimum 3 years of experience managing QA teams or serving as a QA Lead
-
Strong practical knowledge of:

Test automation
-
CI/CD processes
-
Regression testing methodologies
-
Agile/Scrum development practices
-

Ability to review requirements and identify potential testing risks early

Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities
-
Experience coaching and mentoring junior to mid-level QA engineers
-
Comfortable adapting to dynamic and fast-changing environments
-
Good English communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
-
Background working with SaaS or enterprise-level software products
-
Familiarity with cloud technologies, Microsoft 365 platforms, backup/storage systems, virtualization, or infrastructure software
-
Proven track record in improving release quality and minimizing production defects
-
Experience leveraging AI tools such as ChatGPT, Copilot, Cursor, or Claude to optimize QA workflows
-
Experience designing automation frameworks or enhancing testing architecture
