About the Role:

As a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer, you will play a crucial role in empowering our clients to elevate their customer experiences through strategic utilization of Salesforce Marketing Cloud. You‘ll be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of marketing automation solutions, from initial concept to deployment and optimization.

Responsibilities:

  • Campaign Development & Execution:
    • Design, build, and deploy complex customer lifecycle journeys and multi-channel email campaigns within Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including automated and triggered communications.
    • Implement dynamic content and personalization strategies to enhance customer engagement.
  • Audience Segmentation & Data Management:
    • Execute advanced audience segmentation using SQL queries within Automation Studio to target specific customer segments.
    • Manage and maintain data integrity within Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
    • Integrate data from external systems into Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Technical Implementation & Configuration:
    • Configure, test, and deploy marketing automation campaigns, ensuring seamless functionality and optimal performance.
    • Develop custom CloudPages, including preference centers, landing pages, and forms, using JavaScript and SSJS.
    • Develop API integrations to connect external systems with Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Performance Analysis & Optimization:
    • Monitor the technical performance of marketing assets and troubleshoot issues, performing root cause analysis of campaign failures.
    • Analyze campaign performance metrics, generate detailed reports, and provide actionable recommendations for optimization.
    • Measure campaign ROI.
  • Client Collaboration & Communication:
    • Participate in requirements gathering workshops with clients to understand their marketing objectives and translate them into technical solutions.
    • Present technical solutions and campaign strategies to client stakeholders.
    • Maintain clear and consistent communication with internal teams and clients throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Documentation & Best Practices:
    • Build and maintain comprehensive solution-related and campaign-related documentation.
    • Utilize Git for version control of code and configurations.
    • Adhere to industry best practices and Salesforce Marketing Cloud development standards.
  • Continuous Learning:
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest Salesforce Marketing Cloud features and functionalities.
    • Proactively seek opportunities to expand your technical expertise.

Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience working with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio, Mobile Studio, Content Builder, CloudPages, and API development.
  • Strong proficiency in HTML, SQL, AMPScript, JavaScript, and SSJS.
  • Proven experience deploying marketing automation campaigns for real-world marketing initiatives.
  • Experience integrating Salesforce Marketing Cloud with CRM systems and other data sources.
  • Solid understanding of web technologies and API development.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Passion for continuous learning and professional development.
  • Experience with Agile or other project management methodologies.
  • Preferred Certifications: Salesforce Marketing Cloud Certifications (Specialist or Consultant).
