About the Role
We are looking for an experienced ICT Design Lead to oversee network infrastructure design and coordination for a major airport development project in Vietnam. This role is suited to a hands-on technical professional who can take ownership of design activities from requirement assessment through technical review and on-site coordination.
You will work closely with the client, design specialists, contractors, and an international management team to ensure that network designs meet project specifications, comply with applicable requirements, and progress according to schedule. The ideal candidate is proactive, confident in making technical decisions, and capable of leading a design team with minimal supervision.
What You’ll Be Responsible For

Design Requirements & Technical Assessment: Assess network endpoint requirements provided by the client and project design teams, validating technical feasibility and consistency with the agreed project scope.

Design Coordination: Lead discussions with relevant stakeholders to clarify design requirements, align on technical decisions, and communicate agreed outcomes to all parties.

Site Progress Monitoring: Track on-site construction and installation activities, providing the design team with timely and accurate progress updates.

Team Leadership: Direct and coordinate network design activities to ensure alignment with project specifications, approved requirements, and delivery milestones.

Design Execution: Contribute directly to design-related tasks when needed to maintain progress and meet project deadlines.

Project Reporting & Collaboration: Report design progress, coordinate with the main contractor, and maintain alignment with other project teams and disciplines.

Technical Quality Control: Examine completed design drawings against established requirements, identify discrepancies or technical errors, and communicate necessary corrections to the design team.

Regulatory Compliance: Keep the design team informed of applicable Vietnamese ICT and construction regulations and ensure relevant requirements are considered throughout the design process.

Stakeholder Interface: Serve as the key coordination link between the client, design team, and on-site execution personnel.
Requirements — Must-Have

Bachelor's degree in ICT, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.

At least 5 years of experience in ICT/network design, including demonstrated responsibility in design coordination, team leadership, or design management.

Strong practical expertise in ICT network infrastructure design, particularly passive network infrastructure such as cabling systems, racks, patch panels, and data distribution.

Proven capability in reviewing and auditing technical drawings to verify accuracy and compliance with project requirements.

Hands-on experience coordinating clients, designers, and contractors on active construction or infrastructure projects involving multiple stakeholders.

A proactive, independent working style, with the ability to lead and manage design activities without close supervision.

Familiarity with Vietnamese ICT/construction regulations, or the ability to rapidly understand and apply relevant local requirements.

Strong written and spoken English, with the confidence to communicate directly with a Turkey-based head office and international management team.

Available and willing to work full-time on-site in Bac Ninh, Vietnam.
Nice-to-Have

Practical knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Revit, sufficient to independently review technical drawings.

Previous involvement in airport developments, transportation infrastructure, or other large-scale engineering projects.

A PMP certification or an equivalent project management qualification.

Experience working with or reporting to international or multinational engineering organizations.

Knowledge of structured cabling standards, such as BICSI.
