Senior ALM / Requirements Management Engineer
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Requirements Management & ALM Engineer to join our Software Engineering Enablement team.
In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing enterprise requirements management platforms while supporting engineering teams in adopting best practices for requirements traceability, collaboration, and software development governance.
You will work closely with software engineers, architects, quality teams, and technical stakeholders to ensure development tools are scalable, reliable, and aligned with organizational standards. The role also contributes to improving engineering productivity through tool integration, automation, reporting, and continuous process optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer, configure, and maintain enterprise requirements management and ALM platforms.
- Gather business and engineering requirements to recommend suitable tooling solutions for different development scenarios.
- Design and develop custom dashboards, reports, traceability matrices, and workflow automation.
- Provide technical support and consultation to engineering teams on tool usage and best practices.
- Deliver user training sessions and create technical documentation for new users.
- Ensure system availability, performance, and scalability of engineering platforms.
- Define governance and standards for requirements management across development teams.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to evaluate new features and platform enhancements.
- Integrate requirements management platforms with other software development tools to improve end-to-end engineering workflows.
- Drive continuous improvements in engineering processes through automation and tooling optimization.

Requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor‘s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Hands-on experience in Requirements Management, Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), or Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) environments.
- Experience working with one or more enterprise requirements management tools such as Polarion, Jama, IBM DOORS, DOORS Next Generation, Codebeamer, R4J, 3DEXPERIENCE (3DS), Azure DevOps/TFS, Requirements Yogi, or equivalent platforms.
- Good understanding of Software Architecture, software development lifecycle (SDLC), requirements traceability, configuration management, and engineering collaboration workflows.
- Experience with SQL, JavaScript, REST APIs, or similar technologies for scripting, automation, reporting, or tool customization.
- Familiarity with integrating ALM/PLM platforms with other engineering or DevOps tools.
- Knowledge of software engineering quality frameworks such as Automotive SPICE (ASPICE), ISO 26262, TISAX, or comparable industry standards is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Professional working proficiency in English.
