The Opportunity

The Strategist plays a critical role in connecting business objectives with technology delivery. You will work closely with enterprise clients to understand business challenges, analyze operational processes, design AI-enabled workflows, and translate business needs into implementation-ready solutions.

Working alongside architects, engineers, UX/UI designers, and delivery teams, you will help ensure business goals are successfully transformed into scalable AI solutions while remaining accountable for business outcomes throughout the project lifecycle.

The role also encourages the effective use of AI-powered tools to improve analysis, workflow design, documentation, prototyping, and delivery efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead discovery workshops and process mapping sessions to understand client operations, business challenges, and AI transformation opportunities.
• Analyze business processes, workflows, decision points, risks, and operational inefficiencies to identify improvement opportunities.
• Develop measurable business value cases covering productivity improvements, cost optimization, operational efficiency, and risk reduction.
• Collaborate with architects and engineering teams to design AI-enabled workflows and define implementation requirements.
• Prepare functional specifications, BRDs, workflow diagrams, user stories, and acceptance criteria for engineering teams.
• Work closely with UX/UI teams to translate business requirements into intuitive user experiences.
• Utilize AI-assisted tools to prototype workflows, validate concepts, and accelerate stakeholder alignment.
• Manage project documentation, requirements, testing artifacts, and defects using tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Support functional testing, system integration testing, and business validation activities.
• Contribute to client success stories, business outcome documentation, and reusable delivery assets.
• Support pre-sales activities including discovery workshops, proposal development, and business case preparation.

Requirements

• 5–9 years of experience in management consulting, enterprise technology strategy, business analysis, product management, or related roles.
• Experience working within Banking, Financial Services, Insurance (BFSI), Telecommunications, or similar regulated industries.
• Good understanding of enterprise AI concepts, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), agentic AI, multi-agent orchestration, human-in-the-loop workflows, and AI evaluation.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools, coding assistants, or workflow prototyping platforms.
• Strong understanding of business processes within at least one industry such as banking, telecommunications, or insurance.
• Experience developing measurable business cases and translating business objectives into technical requirements.
• Experience creating BRDs, functional specifications, workflow diagrams, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Strong workshop facilitation, stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, product teams, UX/UI designers, architects, and engineers.

Preferred Qualifications

• Regular use of AI tools to improve business analysis, workflow design, documentation, and solution validation.
• Ability to facilitate stakeholder workshops and align teams around measurable business outcomes.
• Comfortable working in fast-paced enterprise environments with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify risks, dependencies, and scope changes early.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain both business and technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Travel

Projects are delivered across Southeast Asia, Australia & New Zealand, and Japan. Travel may be required depending on project needs. Relocation support may be available based on business requirements.

Language

• Fluent spoken and written English is required.
• Additional proficiency in local languages such as Vietnamese, Japanese, Thai, or Filipino is considered an advantage.

Preferred Certifications

• AWS Certified AI Practitioner is preferred.
• Familiarity with AWS AI services and cloud-based data modernization solutions is highly desirable.
