Key Responsibilities

• Administer and monitor Unix/Linux systems (primarily Debian and Ubuntu)

• Collaborate closely with developers and infrastructure engineers

• Maintain and operate infrastructure across both on-premise and remote environments

• Clearly communicate task scope, risks, and complexity to stakeholders and managers

• Introduce automation and adopt new technologies to improve infrastructure reliability and maintainability

• Ensure system stability, performance, and security

• Participate in a shared 24/7 monitoring rotation with the infrastructure team

Required Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field

• Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems and networking fundamentals

• Practical system administration experience with Debian/Ubuntu environments

• Ability to work cross-functionally with developers, system administrators, and project managers

• Capability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

• Strong willingness to learn and adopt new tools and technologies

• Team-oriented mindset with strong collaboration skills

• Professional English communication skills (written and spoken)

• Ownership mindset with a high level of responsibility and commitment to projects

Must have skills 

• Networking protocols: OpenVPN, IMAP, SMTP, LDAP, DNS, TCP/IP, OSPF

• Understanding of TLS/x509 certificates and encryption fundamentals

• Hands-on experience operating Kubernetes in bare-metal environments

• Experience with configuration management tools (SaltStack or Ansible)

• Experience with monitoring and logging platforms

• Familiarity with CI/CD ecosystems (Jenkins, ArgoCD, GitLab CI/CD)

• Knowledge of distributed cluster technologies (Corosync, Pacemaker)

• Experience with software-defined networking solutions
