Responsibilities
Architecture & Infrastructure
- Own the design of system architecture and cloud infrastructure on AWS (EKS, RDS, S3, etc.), ensuring scalability, security, and high availability.
- Define and maintain best practices for system reliability and performance.
Product Development
- Lead hands-on development of complex backend services and APIs using Kotlin, Spring Boot, or Node.js.
- Design and implement modern API solutions leveraging GraphQL, gRPC, and REST.
Project & Delivery Management
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers to plan, scope, and estimate projects.
- Take full ownership of delivery timelines, quality, and execution outcomes.
Leadership & Mentorship
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of engineers.
- Establish and enforce coding standards, code review practices, and CI/CD processes to ensure high engineering quality.
Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues by identifying root causes, not just symptoms.
- Continuously improve system architecture, development processes, and engineering practices.
Qualifications
Experience
- 7+ years of software development experience, including 2+ years in a Technical Lead or similar leadership role.
Backend Expertise
- Strong proficiency in statically typed languages, especially Kotlin/Java (Spring Boot).
- Solid experience working with Node.js in backend systems.
Architecture & System Design
- Deep understanding of microservices architecture, API design (GraphQL, gRPC, REST), and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
Cloud & DevOps
- Hands-on experience with AWS, particularly EKS (Kubernetes), Docker, and modern CI/CD pipelines.
Leadership & Process
- Proven ability to lead engineering teams, manage technical roadmaps, and deliver projects in Agile/Scrum environments.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with ReactJS or React Native.
- Exposure to functional programming concepts.

Working Conditions
- Working hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Monday to Friday)
