We are looking for a seasoned Technical / Solution Architect to take full ownership of the technical design and evolution of our SaaS platform. This role sits at the core of business and engineering, turning complex business and regulatory needs into scalable, secure, cloud-native systems.

You will play a critical role in defining platform architecture, guiding engineering teams, and making key technical decisions that support our expansion across multiple markets.

Architecture & Solution Design

• Design and implement robust, scalable cloud-native architectures using microservices, containers, and serverless approaches

• Produce clear technical artifacts such as architecture diagrams, API specifications, data models (ERD, logical and physical schemas), and integration designs

• Design data architectures covering analytics, data warehousing, and real-time data processing

• Convert business, regulatory, and compliance requirements into practical, secure technical solutions across different regions

Technical Leadership

• Lead technical execution across initiatives, including architecture reviews and design validation

• Partner closely with engineering teams to solve complex technical issues, improve performance, and ensure scalability

• Assess new technologies and define recommendations for long-term platform improvement

• Take ownership of technical challenges from discovery through resolution

AI & Innovation

• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve delivery speed and code quality

• Design and integrate AI-enabled solutions for insurance use cases such as claims automation, underwriting, and recommendations

• Continuously track and apply relevant AI and ML advancements within the insurance technology space

What We’re Looking For

Experience

• 8–10 years of experience in software development and architecture, including 3+ recent years focused on cloud-native solutions

• 3–5 years in technology startups, with hands-on experience building and scaling products in high-growth environments

• Recent experience in insurance, banking, fintech, or e-commerce — insurance domain experience strongly preferred

• Demonstrated success delivering large-scale SaaS systems into production

Technical Expertise

• Strong hands-on experience designing cloud platforms on AWS and/or Azure at scale

• Deep understanding of modern architectures including microservices, API-first design, and composable systems

• Practical experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines

• Solid knowledge of API design standards and cloud-native best practices

• Experience working with data platforms such as data lakes, data warehouses, and analytics pipelines

• Familiarity with API gateway solutions and policy-based traffic and security controls

• Active use of AI coding assistants (GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor, or similar) in daily
  work

• Ability to break down complex technical problems and explain solutions clearly to both technical teams and business stakeholders

• Strong communication skills, including presenting technical concepts to senior leadership

• Self-driven, organized, and comfortable managing priorities independently

• Collaborative team player with a hands-on, startup-oriented mindset

• Comfortable working in ambiguous environments and taking on multiple responsibilities
