The Role
We’re looking for a Creative Strategist Lead to own and drive the creative strategy across our game/app portfolio. In this role, you will define long-term creative direction, connect product insights with performance marketing, and lead cross-functional alignment between UA, Product, and Creative teams.
You’ll combine market intelligence, audience psychology, creative experimentation, and AI-assisted workflows to scale high-performing creatives while shaping the overall creative vision for our products.
What You’ll Do
Strategic Ownership
- Define and lead the overall creative strategy and vision for assigned games/apps.
- Establish long-term creative direction and align teams around shared growth and performance goals.
- Partner closely with UA, Product, and Creative teams to ensure strategic consistency and execution quality.
Playtesting, Research & Creative Strategy
- Lead structured playtesting and market research to uncover product USPs, player motivations, and creative opportunities.
- Build and maintain systems for trend tracking and competitive analysis across different GEOs and markets.
- Transform insights into scalable creative frameworks such as messaging pillars, angle maps, and component systems to guide production teams.
AI & Workflow Innovation
- Explore and implement AI tools and workflows to improve creative research, ideation, and production efficiency.
- Design AI-assisted processes that accelerate experimentation and creative output.
- Build and maintain internal creative knowledge systems, including trend libraries, creative references, and best practices.
Planning & Creative Operations
- Lead quarterly, monthly, and weekly planning processes, setting priorities and aligning resources effectively.
- Balance short-term performance objectives with long-term brand and creative direction.
- Maintain clear roadmaps, strategic documentation, and decision-making frameworks.
Performance Analysis
- Analyze creative performance metrics such as CTR, CVR, IPM, CPI, and ROAS to identify patterns, opportunities, and root causes.
- Establish continuous testing and learning cadences to drive data-informed creative decisions.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Act as the strategic connector between UA, Creative Production, Product, and other stakeholders.
- Facilitate alignment meetings and ensure smooth collaboration across teams.
Qualifications
Required Skills & Experience
- 4+ years of experience in Creative Strategy, UA Creative, Product Marketing, or similar strategic creative roles.
- Strong ability to translate product insights, user behavior, and market trends into effective creative strategies.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to coordinate timelines, resources, and multi-format creative initiatives from ideation to execution and iteration.
- Strong understanding of performance marketing metrics (CTR, CVR, IPM, CPI, ROAS) and how they influence creative optimization.
- Hands-on experience with creative research tools, ad libraries, analytics platforms, and AI-assisted workflows.
- Proven experience collaborating with Designers, Motion Artists, and Playable Developers to ensure strong creative execution.
- Ability to manage multiple creative initiatives simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality and communication.
- Deep understanding of creative trends, audience psychology, and benchmarks within the mobile gaming/app industry.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence decisions across teams.
