Key Responsibilities

• Take the lead on analytical aspects of core research and commercial projects — whether internal, client-based, or collaborative.

• Design and implement scalable data pipelines for microbiome analysis and automated reporting.

• Build, train, and validate machine learning models for health prediction and classification.

• Partner with commercial, product, and technology teams to ensure analytics align with overall business objectives.

• Communicate complex technical results clearly to non-technical leaders and stakeholders.

• Contribute to scientific writing, reports, and research publications.

Requirements

• Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Bioinformatics, or a related discipline.

• Strong programming proficiency in Python or R.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a data science or bioinformatics role — ideally involving microbiome or omics data.

• Solid understanding of statistics, machine learning, and data interpretation.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work across multidisciplinary teams.

• Strategic mindset with a focus on connecting data-driven insights to organizational goals.

• Bonus points for experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL), containerization tools (Docker), or cloud computing platforms.
