Key Responsibilities

Take the lead on analytical aspects of core research and commercial projects — whether internal, client-based, or collaborative.

Design and implement scalable data pipelines for microbiome analysis and automated reporting.

Build, train, and validate machine learning models for health prediction and classification.

Partner with commercial, product, and technology teams to ensure analytics align with overall business objectives.

Communicate complex technical results clearly to non-technical leaders and stakeholders.

Contribute to scientific writing, reports, and research publications.
Requirements

Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Bioinformatics, or a related discipline.

Strong programming proficiency in Python or R.

Minimum 2 years of experience in a data science or bioinformatics role — ideally involving microbiome or omics data.

Solid understanding of statistics, machine learning, and data interpretation.

Excellent communication skills and ability to work across multidisciplinary teams.

Strategic mindset with a focus on connecting data-driven insights to organizational goals.

Bonus points for experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL), containerization tools (Docker), or cloud computing platforms.
