The Role: Engagement Manager

As an Engagement Manager with our client, you will be responsible for the end-to-end success, growth, and profitability of one or more strategic accounts. Acting as the single-threaded leader, you will translate client business priorities into well-governed delivery initiatives using GenAI Factory, Agentic AI, and Data Platform solutions built on AWS.

This position bridges strategy, delivery, and growth—requiring you to engage senior business stakeholders, shape commercial agreements, and ensure delivery excellence across multiple squads. You’ll lead engagements from pre-sales through production-scale programs, balancing business value realization with commercial discipline and governance rigor.

The ideal candidate combines executive-level relationship management, strong commercial acumen, and technical fluency, confidently bridging CxO-level conversations and technology execution.


Key Responsibilities

  • Be a Strategic Partner: Build trusted, executive-level relationships, align transformation goals, and ensure measurable value delivery.

  • Drive Account Growth: Position our client’s GenAI, Data, and AWS capabilities to unlock new opportunities, expand sponsorship, and grow account revenue.

  • Deliver with Excellence: Govern multi-squad delivery from discovery to post-launch, ensuring quality, compliance, and predictability.

  • Own Financial Outcomes: Manage account-level P&L—covering revenue, margins, forecasting, invoicing, and profitability with full transparency.

  • Scale AI/ML at Production Level: Guide programs from pilot to enterprise-scale deployment on AWS with best practices for cost, security, and evaluation.

  • Build and Lead Teams: Coach and scale cross-functional delivery squads, fostering accountability, innovation, and measurable business impact.


What You’ll Bring

Essential Qualifications

  • Client & Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to engage senior executives, run QBRs, align transformation roadmaps, and navigate complex organizations.

  • Account P&L Ownership: 3–5+ years of experience managing revenue, margins, forecasting, and profitability across large accounts.

  • Delivery Governance Expertise: Experience implementing structured delivery frameworks (RAIDs, SteerCos, CI/CD, IaC, quality gates).

  • Technical Fluency: Strong understanding of GenAI (RAG/Graph-RAG, guardrails, evals), Data Platforms (ETL, catalog/lineage, Iceberg/Delta, Redshift), and AWS (S3, Lambda, Bedrock, SageMaker, EKS, IAM).

  • Growth & Commercial Leadership: Proven track record in expanding client relationships, leading pursuits, building proposals, and shaping SOWs.

  • Risk & Compliance Knowledge: Skilled in data privacy, model governance, consent/masking, and risk mitigation practices.

  • Team Leadership: Experienced in coaching PMs, EMs, and tech leads across multi-squad delivery setups.

  • Commercial Acumen: Strong understanding of pricing models (T&M, squad-based), contract terms (MSA/SOW/WO), and client-side negotiation.

  • Experience: 8–15 years in consulting, systems integration, or product-led services, including 3–5 years of P&L responsibility.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or an MBA (both preferred).


Preferred Skills

  • Hands-on experience with GenAI orchestration (Bedrock Agents, MCPs, integrations).

  • Familiarity with modern data stack tools (DBT, Glue, Lake Formation, Airflow).

  • Awareness of other cloud providers (Azure, GCP).

  • Regional experience across ASEAN and Australia, with cross-cultural delivery exposure.

  • Understanding of data/AI regulatory frameworks such as APRA, MAS TRM, PDPA, and GDPR.

  • Demonstrated thought leadership (whitepapers, panels, or conferences).

  • Experience shaping GTM strategies in GenAI, Data, or Cloud consulting.
