This role is suited for a recruiter who enjoys being deeply involved in delivery while also contributing to the growth of a recruitment function in Ho Chi Minh City. You will manage hiring across a diverse set of professional positions, ranging from technical roles such as developers to business and specialist roles including architecture and finance. As the role involves close collaboration with overseas stakeholders and global clients, strong English skills and confidence in external-facing discussions are critical.

Core Responsibilities

Full-cycle recruitment ownership

  • Manage the entire hiring journey from talent sourcing and candidate screening through stakeholder communication, interview coordination (with administrative assistance), offer negotiation, and successful placement.

  • Convert hiring needs into practical sourcing and assessment approaches, with attention to language proficiency and professional communication skills.

Talent sourcing and market insight

  • Actively identify and engage niche and hard-to-source candidates through LinkedIn, job platforms, referrals, professional networks, and direct outreach.

  • Provide basic talent market insights, including candidate availability, compensation trends, and competitive hiring activity, to support informed hiring decisions.

Stakeholder and client engagement

  • Serve as a reliable recruitment partner for internal teams and international clients by delivering transparent updates, setting realistic expectations, and offering guidance on hiring approaches.

  • Maintain a high-quality candidate journey that reflects a premium employer and service brand.

Quality assurance and process optimisation

  • Ensure consistent standards in candidate evaluation, documentation, and adherence to internal recruitment practices.

  • Continuously refine workflows, reporting, and tools as the Vietnam recruitment operation expands.

  • Monitor and report on recruitment performance indicators such as time-to-fill, shortlist turnaround, pipeline strength, conversion ratios, and offer acceptance rates.

Recruitment team development (future-focused)

  • Contribute to building recruitment frameworks in Vietnam, including processes, templates, sourcing strategies, and evaluation criteria.

  • Assist with onboarding and supporting new recruiters as the team grows (prior leadership experience is beneficial but not mandatory).

Indicators of Success (First 3–6 Months)

  • Consistently deliver high-quality candidate shortlists that meet both technical capability and language expectations.

  • Establish scalable recruitment processes and clear reporting structures.

  • Build credibility with stakeholders through proactive communication and practical hiring advice.

Required Background

  • At least 5 years of experience in end-to-end recruitment, either in-house or agency environments, preferably working with international organisations or global clients.

  • Proven track record recruiting for a broad range of professional and specialist roles, including technical and difficult-to-fill positions.

  • Strong written and spoken English, with confidence in presenting candidates and advising hiring managers.

  • Advanced sourcing skills with a proactive, pipeline-driven approach.

  • Highly accountable, well-organised, responsive, and adaptable to a fast-growing setup.

Preferred Experience

  • Exposure to mentoring or leading recruiters.

  • Experience designing or scaling recruitment processes or functions.

  • Background in offshore staffing, shared services, or global delivery recruitment.
