We are looking for an SAP S/4HANA Analytics Specialist to develop real-time analytical solutions within the Embedded Analytics framework. The role focuses on leveraging Key User and Developer extensibility features to deliver actionable insights, requiring a solid grasp of SAP business processes to effectively convert business needs into meaningful analytics.

Key Accountabilities

Analytics Design & Development

• Develop tailored analytical solutions using SAP S/4HANA Embedded Analytics and extensibility tools.

• Build and maintain Custom CDS Views, analytical queries, and multidimensional reports through SAP Fiori applications.

• Apply SAP HANA’s Virtual Data Model by consuming released CDS views in compliance with stability and lifecycle contracts.

• Design, configure, and manage KPIs, reports, and SAP Smart Business content to support operational monitoring.

• Oversee the lifecycle of analytical extensions, including transport handling and extensibility tracking.

Business Collaboration

• Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to interpret requirements and align analytics with end-to-end business processes.

• Ensure analytical outputs are embedded naturally within operational workflows to support real-time decision-making.

Required Expertise

Mandatory Technical Capabilities

• Proven hands-on experience with Key User Extensibility tools, including Custom CDS Views, Analytical Queries, and Query Browser.

• Strong CDS development skills using released data sources, with correct annotations and data classifications.

• Practical experience working with SAP Fiori analytical apps and embedded reporting features.

• Solid understanding of data modeling concepts such as Virtual Data Models, CUBE/FACT/DIMENSION structures, and stability contracts.

• Working knowledge of SAP HANA performance optimization and code pushdown principles.

Desirable Technical Experience

• Exposure to ABAP Development Tools and CDS modeling within Eclipse.

• Familiarity with ABAP Cloud concepts and the RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP).

• Experience applying Developer Extensibility for advanced or non-standard analytical use cases.

• Knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud integration and OData-based services.

Business & Process Understanding

• Foundational knowledge of SAP functional areas and their integration touchpoints.

• Awareness of key business cycles such as Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Record-to-Report, and Plan-to-Produce.

• Ability to align analytical use cases with relevant functional domains and business objectives.
