Role Overview:

As a Mechanical Product Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the design, development, testing, and packaging of mechanical systems for the company product line, including 3D cameras, robot accessories, and related components. You will be responsible for ensuring the mechanical integrity and performance of these products throughout their lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the mechanical engineering efforts for the design and development of the company system, including mechanical assembly, thermal management, structural analysis, and material selection.
• Design and build prototypes, conduct simulations, and perform hands-on physical testing to validate and refine product designs.
• Collaborate closely with mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing vendors to ensure timely and efficient production and delivery of components.
• Work alongside cross-functional teams, including product, software, and AI engineers, to develop integrated design solutions that meet both technical and user requirements.
• Maintain comprehensive design documentation and ensure accurate records of design iterations and product histories.
• Provide technical expertise and cost estimates during the product definition phase to support decision-making and project planning.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years‘ experience in mechanical design or similar position.
• Proficiency in at least one CAD software (e.g., OnShape, AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
• Hands-on experience in industrial product design, fabrication, and manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with testing standards for industrial products (e.g., dustproofing, waterproofing, drop tests, vibration tests).
• Experience in packaging design for industrial or consumer products.
• Bachelor‘s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, Automation, or a related discipline.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the design and development of camera-related industrial products.
• Background in automation, robotics, or related technologies.
• Strong proficiency in spoken and written English, especially for cross-functional collaboration.
