Role Overview
As a Full-Stack Engineer at our Singapore-based Insurtech startup , you will be a key member of a high-performing team building a modern, GenAI-powered enterprise system for the insurance industry. You will contribute to the development of core modules such as Claims, Underwriting, and Policy Servicing, as well as a best-in-class Insurance FWA (Fraud, Waste, and Abuse) engine.
Key Responsibilities
- System Development: Build and maintain scalable software applications for both Life and Non-life insurance sectors.
- AI Integration: Leverage LLMs and AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate development and enhance system capabilities.
- Regional Collaboration: Work closely with regional partners across SEA and Asia to ensure project success.
- Technical Excellence: Uphold high standards in coding (TypeScript) and architectural design, focusing on detail and user value.
Technical Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Experience: Minimum of 6 years in software development.
- Core Stack: Proficient in TypeScript and Functional Programming.
- AI Tooling: Hands-on experience using LLMs for code assistance (e.g., Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor Agent).
- Modern Infrastructure: Familiarity with Cloud Computing (AWS), Serverless architecture (Lambda, ECS, Aurora), and GraphQL.

- Leadership: Proven experience in technical leadership and setting direction for project teams.
- Problem Solving: Ability to architect solutions for ambiguous problems with significant business impact.
- Communication: Articulate in both verbal and written communication; a passion for writing and languages is highly valued.
