Role Summary

Own and drive the complete physical deployment of hardware and IoT devices in commercial buildings, resolve complex on-site technical/network escalations, and interface directly with client executives.

Key Responsibilities

• Pre-Deployment: Review architectural floor plans with Sales to scope device/gateway counts; establish data connectivity paths (Cloud or BMS) and configure accounts prior to install day.

• Execution & Oversight: Track timelines and logistics, direct third-party contractors (GCs, low-voltage, IT), and ensure devices are correctly placed and reliably transmitting data.

• Technical Escalations: Perform hands-on network troubleshooting (IP/DHCP, Firewall ports, VLANs, switch patching) alongside client IT teams before escalating to R&D.

Requirements

Must-Haves

• 3+ Years Field Experience: Deploying physical hardware/infrastructure (IoT, AV, security, low-voltage, network) into active commercial buildings (not purely SaaS or software PM).

• Technical & Spatial Skills: Ability to read blueprints/floor plans and troubleshoot common site network failures (Firewall, IP/DHCP, VLANs, cabling).

• Site Fluency: Skilled at managing relationships and communicating with GCs, low-voltage installers, facility managers, and client IT admins.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with BMS integrations or green building standards (WELL, RESET, LEED).

• Background with commercial IoT sensors or environmental monitoring devices.

Work Environment

• Model: 100% Remote coordination (0% mandatory travel required).

• Hours: Primarily aligned with North American business hours, with flexibility needed for occasional early/late calls to support global live installs
