The Role:

Are you a mid-level developer eager to take on a more senior position and help shape a product from its early stages? The company offers an exciting chance to join our founding team as our first external hire. This role gives you the opportunity to influence key technical decisions, design our architecture, and expand your full-stack skills, with a particular emphasis on backend development.

As our first developer, you will:

• Lead the direction of technical strategy and product development
• Gain invaluable experience in a startup environment

• Work closely with cutting-edge AI and machine learning technologies

What you’ll be doing on a daily basis:

• Partner with co-founder to design and develop our product from the ground up
• Make critical decisions regarding the technology stack and overall product direction
• Architect and build backend systems with a focus on data handling and API integration
• Develop AI-powered features and integrate third-party services into the product
• Manage cloud infrastructure to ensure scalability and reliability
• Contribute to frontend development to create a smooth and intuitive user experience

What we’re looking for:

• 5+ years of experience in full-stack development, with a strong focus on backend
• A mid-level developer ready to step up into a senior role
• Someone aspiring to become a CTO or startup founder in the future
• A strategic thinker capable of making impactful technical decisions
• A passion for building meaningful products
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently
• Solid English communication skills
