Role Overview
We are seeking an innovative Solution Architect with over 10 years of experience in the IoT and Industry 4.0 domain. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Edge Computing, Connectivity, IT-OT integration, PLC, and Sensorization to drive Smart Manufacturing, Connected Things, and ESG initiatives for global clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and document the overall solution architecture for IoT and Industry 4.0 initiatives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and technical requirements.
• Select appropriate technologies and platforms that align with the solution‘s goals.
• Develop and enforce architectural standards and best practices.
• Ensure the solution meets performance, scalability, and security requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and support to development teams.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks or issues related to the solution‘s architecture.
• Continuously improve the solution’s architecture and its components.

Mandatory Qualifications

• Over 8 years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on IoT systems.
• 5+ years of expertise in implementing IoT connectivity solutions using protocols like HTTPS, MQTT, AMQP, Zigbee, or LoRaWAN.
• 3+ years working on IoT frameworks such as Azure IoT Hub, AWS IoT Core, and their associated Edge technologies.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Industry 4.0, especially its impact on manufacturing processes.
• Strong ability to analyze and simplify complex systems and infrastructures.
• Proficient in cloud architecture design and interpretation of technical blueprints.
• Hands-on experience in sectors like IoT, embedded technology, or M2M, with a focus on Smart Manufacturing and Energy Efficiency.
• Expertise in API/microservices architecture, software design principles, user experience, and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Skilled in creating and optimizing Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Extensive experience working with IoT edge computing platforms, such as AWS Greengrass.
• Strong background in building cloud-native applications and solutions.
• Excellent project management, communication, and organizational skills, with an emphasis on collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications

• A technical background in Operations Technology (OT).
• Familiarity with AI/ML, advanced process control, additive manufacturing, smart tools, and cybersecurity.
• Knowledge of emerging IoT and mobile technologies and communication protocols.
• Ability to guide clients on Industry 4.0 strategy and identify relevant use cases.
• Proven experience in delivering projects related to equipment connectivity, OEE measurement, digital twins, and predictive maintenance.
