Job Title: Ruby on Rails Developer (Contract)

Location: Remote
Duration: 8 months (with the potential to transition to a full-time role)
Client Location: Tokyo, Japan

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain robust, scalable web applications using Ruby on Rails.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues in a timely manner.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Work closely with the client team in Tokyo to understand their requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs.

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails development.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, MVC architecture, and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a remote team environment.
• Good communication skills in English
