About the Role
We are seeking an AWS Solutions Architect who will design, implement, and scale enterprise-grade cloud systems supporting Generative AI and data-driven workloads. This position demands strong expertise in distributed systems, cloud-native architecture, and AWS technologies. You’ll ensure performance, reliability, and compliance across complex environments while collaborating closely with product, DevOps, and AI teams to deliver secure, production-ready solutions.
Your Responsibilities & Impact
Enterprise Architecture & System Design
-
Design secure, scalable, and resilient architectures for AI-powered and cloud-native applications.
-
Lead architectural reviews to ensure alignment with AWS Well-Architected Framework principles, emphasizing security, performance, reliability, cost efficiency, and operational excellence.
-
Implement high-availability, multi-region strategies using ALB/NLB, Route53, ECS/EKS, and RDS.
-
Develop detailed system and sequence diagrams mapping integrations across application, data, and AI layers.
Scalability, Reliability & Performance
-
Architect distributed systems capable of handling high throughput and concurrency.
-
Apply microservices and event-driven design patterns using AWS Lambda, SQS, SNS, and EventBridge.
-
Utilize caching, auto-scaling, and load balancing techniques to ensure consistent performance.
-
Conduct system performance analysis and cost optimization through capacity planning.
Security, Compliance & Governance
-

API & Data Layer Architecture
-
Design REST and GraphQL APIs with built-in authentication, throttling, and observability.
-
Architect data storage solutions combining relational (PostgreSQL/RDS), NoSQL (DynamoDB, MongoDB), and vector databases.
-
Implement encryption, retention, and auditing policies to meet enterprise governance requirements.
-
Build real-time and batch data pipelines integrated with AI models and analytics systems.
Observability, Monitoring & Incident Response
-
Set up end-to-end observability using CloudWatch, Prometheus, and OpenTelemetry.
-
Define SLAs, SLOs, and error budgets for critical services.
-
Develop incident response playbooks, automated alerting, and operational runbooks.
-
Implement FinOps practices with cost visibility dashboards and optimization strategies.
Technical Leadership & Collaboration
-
Provide architectural guidance and mentorship to engineers and DevOps professionals.
