About the Role

You are a AWS Solution Architect — AI & Data Solutions who operates across the entire lifecycle — from identifying business challenges to designing and delivering scalable, enterprise-level systems. You combine strong cloud architecture expertise with deep knowledge in AI/GenAI and/or Data Architecture. You are confident working with senior stakeholders while also leading detailed technical discussions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and drive end-to-end architecture for AI-driven and data-intensive enterprise solutions aligned with business goals
• Facilitate architecture workshops and present solutions to both technical teams and business stakeholders
• Define and incorporate non-functional requirements (e.g., scalability, security, performance, compliance, cost) into solution design
• Evaluate trade-offs and make architectural decisions within constraints, ensuring alignment and clarity
• Support or lead pre-sales activities such as solution design, RFP responses, and client presentations
• Ensure architectural consistency throughout delivery, validating that implementations align with design
• Build reusable assets including frameworks, reference architectures, and accelerators
• Contribute to effort estimation, risk identification, and definition of delivery assumptions
• Mentor engineers and junior architects to strengthen overall architecture capabilities
• Serve as a trusted advisor to stakeholders and leadership on technology and architecture decisions

Qualifications

• 10–15+ years of experience in software engineering, cloud architecture, or distributed systems
• Proven experience delivering end-to-end solutions in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
• Hands-on experience building and scaling real-world systems
• Experience working with business stakeholders and translate requirements into technical solutions
• Exposure to pre-sales, consulting, or client-facing roles is a plus
• Experience in regulated industries such as BFSI, Telco, or Healthcare is preferred
• For senior candidates: experience leading multi-workstream programs and governing architecture across engagements

• Experience establishing and governing architecture standards
• Ability to estimate scope, identify risks, and communicate effectively in complex environments

• Deep knowledge of AWS and cloud-native design patterns
• Hands-on experience with compute, storage, networking, security, and observability
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, and multi-environment deployments
• Understanding of multi-account and multi-region setups
• Exposure to multi-cloud environments is an advantage
• Specialization — Deep Expertise in One or More Areas
• AI: model deployment, fine-tuning pipelines, inference optimization, evaluation frameworks
• GenAI / Agentic AI: multi-agent systems, tool integration, memory/context management, governance
• Data Architecture: data platforms, batch and real-time pipelines, governance, lineage, storage systems
• For senior candidates: ability to integrate AI, data, and cloud into enterprise-scale solutions
