About the Role

The Senior Consultant – Engagement & Strategy is a key contributor supporting Engagement Managers across client delivery, pre-sales initiatives, and governance of transformation programs in cloud, data, and GenAI.

This role is ideal for professionals with 5–8 years of experience who have a solid foundation in consulting, delivery, and client-facing work, and are looking to grow into future Engagement Managers by taking on increasing ownership in solutioning, delivery coordination, and commercial activities.


Key Responsibilities

Client Engagement & Delivery Support

  • Partner with Engagement Managers to support end-to-end engagement execution (from discovery through solutioning to delivery tracking)

  • Contribute to program governance, including:

    • Risk and issue management (RAID logs)

    • Status reporting and progress tracking

    • Stakeholder communication

  • Coordinate across multiple workstreams and vendors to ensure alignment and timely delivery


Strategy, Analysis & Solutioning

  • Lead or support current-state assessments and contribute to:

    • Transformation roadmaps

    • Target operating models

    • Business case development

  • Structure complex business problems into clear, actionable solution approaches

  • Develop executive-level presentations for both clients and internal leadership


Pre-Sales & Business Development

  • Contribute to RFP, RFI, and RFQ responses

  • Prepare key proposal components, including:

    • Solution narratives

    • Scope definition

    • Assumptions and dependencies

  • Support effort estimation and pricing models in collaboration with Engagement Managers and finance teams

  • Participate in client discussions and help position solutions effectively


Commercial & Account Support

  • Assist in Statement of Work (SOW) creation and scope structuring

  • Support tracking of engagement financials, including budget vs. actual performance

  • Identify opportunities for account growth (upsell and cross-sell)


Technology & Solution Alignment

  • Work closely with architects to translate cloud, data, and GenAI solutions into tangible business value

  • Develop use cases, value propositions, and industry perspectives

  • Stay informed on AWS/cloud ecosystems and emerging AI trends


Internal Collaboration

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with consulting, delivery, sales, and finance teams

  • Contribute to and maintain reusable assets such as:

    • Proposals

    • Case studies

    • Best practices


Qualifications & Experience

  • 5–8 years of experience in one or more of the following areas:

    • Management or technology consulting

    • Program delivery / PMO

    • Strategy or business analysis

  • Exposure to cloud (preferably AWS), data, and AI/GenAI transformation initiatives

  • Experience supporting:

    • Client engagements and delivery governance

    • Pre-sales, proposals, and solution development


Core Skills

  • Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving

  • Advanced skills in PowerPoint and Excel

  • Ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders

  • Good understanding of delivery lifecycles and consulting frameworks

  • Excellent communication and storytelling abilities
