We are looking for an experienced Python Engineer to strengthen our team and support the growth of our data integration ecosystem. This role focuses heavily on large-scale, production-grade web scraping and onboarding new open-data sources into our platform. The position is full-time, fully remote, and best suited for candidates located in the Philippines.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, refine, and support reliable web scraping tools to bring external public datasets into our existing data workflow.

• Work in close coordination with colleagues based in Amsterdam to ensure smooth integrations and consistently high data quality.

• Tackle advanced scraping assignments that require solid, hands-on programming expertise.

• Collaborate with internal partners to understand data needs and deliver effective technical solutions.

• Produce clear documentation and follow established standards for code quality and data management.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated background in Python development, with strong experience in large-scale web scraping.

• Solid grasp of data pipelines and connecting multiple data sources into unified systems.

• Ability to solve difficult scraping problems—this role is not intended for junior-level developers.

• Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.

• Comfortable working autonomously in a remote environment as well as collaborating within a distributed team.

• Open to mid-level or senior applicants; quick ramp-up time is highly valued.
