JOB PURPOSE

The Country Head of Talent Acquisition will lead and coach the Country TA Department to design and execute end-to-end recruitment strategies across Vietnam. This role is responsible for driving workforce expansion, leading mass recruitment programs, strengthening employer branding, and building strategic academic partnerships.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Strategic Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

  • Lead, coach, and manage the Country Talent Acquisition team to deliver high-quality hiring solutions aligned with corporate growth.

  • Partner with senior leadership to build strategic sourcing plans, succession pipelines, and workforce forecasts for high-tech manufacturing sites.

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment across all levels, including leadership/management roles and large-scale technical talent sourcing.

  • Monitor labor market trends and adapt national talent strategies dynamically to support multi-site operations (e.g., VSIP1, VSIP3, Nhon Trach).

2. Mass Recruitment Campaigns

  • Direct large-scale mass hiring initiatives (such as volume recruitment drives and university graduate programs like Gongchae) to scale workforce capacity.

  • Leverage diverse sourcing channels including digital media, headhunting agencies, career fairs, and community networks to maintain a sustainable talent pipeline.

3. Employer Branding & Academic Partnerships

  • Oversee national Employer Branding initiatives to promote the company’s Employee Value Proposition (EVP) and workplace recognition awards.

  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with top domestic and international universities, vocational schools, and student organizations to drive internship and graduate pipeline programs.

  • Represent the organization at major career expos, university job fairs, and strategic talent forums.

4. Operations Excellence & Budget Management

  • Manage employer branding and recruitment budgets effectively using data-driven insights to optimize ROI.

  • Streamline recruitment processes, optimize ATS workflows, and foster a team culture of continuous learning and performance excellence.


REQUIREMENTS

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Human Resources, or related fields.

  • Experience: 8–10+ years of progressive HR/Talent Acquisition experience, including proven leadership as a TA Manager or Head of TA in multinational manufacturing environments (MNCs).

  • Proven Track Record:

    • Demonstrated success in scaling workforce capacity rapidly

    • Extensive experience in executing both mass recruitment campaigns (>1,000 hires/year) and specialized technical/management sourcing.

  • Core Competencies: Exceptional expertise in Employer Branding, Strategic Sourcing, Workforce Planning, University Relations, and Team Coaching/Development.

  • Languages: Business proficiency in English and Vietnamese.
